The innocent Cat

Bird Dinner

So this is the cat that was accused of killing the bird? Well I wouldn't swear on it but I think this cat is innocent. After all, that feather in its mouth really means nothing, it could be just coincidental that the wind blew it there.

Ok, maybe you are not convinced but are cats really ever innocent of anything? With those cute little faces and those cute little innocent stares, how could you possibly think they were evil? Well as a buddy of mine once put it, “women and cats have a lot in common, don't be fooled by the innocent looks, they are capable of real evil.” Yeah, I know that was a harsh statement so I will overlook it and just see the humor in his remarks.

The bottom line however is that a cat is a cat and a cat will do what cats do, they hunt and they kill. Domesticated or non-domesticated, its in their nature to hunt and kill. So once in a while expect to find your cat with a dead mouse, a dead rabbit or a dead squirrel under its paws. In rare cases you will find it with a feather in its mouth. "I twaat i twaa a putty cat, i did i did twaa a putty cat." I guess tweetie's luck finally ran out.
